Wine Storage Features Continue to Trend

Greg Woods • Mar 25, 2024

You don't have to be a wine connoisseur to incorporate a wine feature into your new build or reno.  These days most wine features are actually wine walls and some clients lucky enough to have the room will build walk in wine rooms to accommodate their growing collection.  While practical, the real trend has been in making the wine features artistic in nature using glass panels, rich wood, stone and metals to create a visually appealing feature that adds depth and interest. This small but striking wine room with clear glass walls is perfect for this entertaining basement as it creates visual interest but the see through walls make the wine feature feel modern and non-obtrusive.

This sought after Forest Highlands neighborhood is home to many fortunate Phoenicians for the hot summer months. Our clients are excited to have broken ground and begin the foundation phase on their 5000 square foot retreat. The race is on to get this structure enclosed before the first snow fall, but the builders in Flagstaff are used to the weather deadlines and are well on their way to making this dream property a reality for these deserving clients.

The Arcadia neighborhood in Phoenix is heavily characterized by the large presence of welcoming front porches, decks, and patios. We think Arcadia does it right by creating an unmistakable sense of community by greeting neighbors and passers-by and inevitably creating a close knit neighborhood. This simple yet elegant renovation gives the homeowner a relaxation/entertainment space featuring a low enclosure fence that is defining yet welcoming. By adding a fireplace feature and some iconic Arcadia colors and lighting, a homeowner can experience a surge in property value, connect with their community and enjoy the outdoor living Phoenix has become famous for. As we travel, we see this popular renovation giving a significant facelift to traditional style homes in other areas of the country as well. Although this is technically not adding square footage, it will feel like it when you are hosting guests.
