“It was an honor to be asked to be part of another home design for this wonderful couple. Their first design, more than a decade ago, was in central Phoenix and I consider it a privilege to be asked to work with them again. This 6200 sq foot Modern Spanish Colonial is set on the award-winning Founder’s golf course in Verrado. This home takes full advantage of mountain views with detached guest house and view decks taking in the stunning and famous Arizona sunsets.
Putting a “hat” on a house is a necessity, but creating a roof that seriously elevates the appearance of a home is not often a priority. The skill required to create an interesting, sophisticated and “wow” worthy roofline like this is steeped in years of intense training and experience. Greg Woods is known for his beautiful rooflines and doesn’t take the easy way out. The Flagstaff Mountain retreat is humming along to completion and in theme with the beautiful surroundings the siding is a unique product made from rice hulls.
